International. Kaseya announced the appointment of Rania Succar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company, a global provider of IT management and cybersecurity software with artificial intelligence, indicated that Succar will assume leadership in a stage of consolidation of its platform and global expansion.
Kaseya serves approximately 50,000 managed service providers (MSPs) and internal IT customers, supporting hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through its IT management and security platform.
Succar has experience in growing businesses and incorporating customer-centric technologies. For nine years at Intuit, he led initiatives to support small and medium-sized businesses. As the director of QuickBooks Money, her teams developed tools to facilitate payments, access to capital, and cash flow forecasting. Subsequently, as a director of Intuit Mailchimp, she drove revenue by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and SMS capabilities, expanding internationally, and integrating the platform into the Intuit ecosystem. Succar has also worked at Google, McKinsey, and Merrill Lynch.
Mike Triplett, Chairman of Kaseya's Board of Directors and Managing Director at Insight Partners, said, "We are very proud of the scale and impact Kaseya has achieved, becoming a critical platform for managed service providers (MSPs) supporting small and medium-sized businesses facing increasingly complex IT and security demands. In our search for a new CEO, we wanted a leader with the vision and ability to position Kaseya as one of the most essential platforms for MSPs and for the broader SMB technology ecosystem. Rania's bold leadership and track record in building and scaling innovative, customer-centric businesses in the SMB market make her the ideal leader to guide Kaseya into its next stage and into a potential initial public offering (IPO)."
For his part, Succar said, "It is a privilege to join Kaseya and contribute to a mission that resonates deeply with me. Kaseya plays a vital role—along with its MSP partners in more than 170 countries—in helping small and medium-sized businesses thrive in an increasingly complex digital environment. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our MSP partners to achieve even greater results for SMEs and build on Kaseya's strong foundation. The opportunity ahead of us is immense."
