Latin America. HID announced the introduction of HID Integration Service, an innovative platform that merges physical security, cybersecurity, and digital identity management.
The Integration as a Service (IPaaS) platform makes it easy for application developers, solution integrators, and software vendors to seamlessly connect physical and digital security solutions. According to HID, the solution seeks to simplify system management, reduce operational costs, and shorten implementation times.
Martin Ladstaetter, senior vice president of Identity and Access Management Solutions at HID, said HID Integration Service connects physical and digital security products, reducing time to market for new solutions for developers and vendors.
HID Integration Service provides pre-built integrations, scalability, and protection to suit different organizational requirements. Additionally, it offers a layer of joint integration that ranges from point-to-point connections to mergers with different platforms.
The platform already has innovative users such as SwiftConnect and CloudCard, who have highlighted the advantages of the solution to improve their integration processes and development of new functions.
According to the 2025 State of Security and Identity Report, 67% of security officers are implementing software-based solutions, while nearly three-quarters of organizations see unified data collection as essential to their activities.
