Chile. On May 15, Santiago de Chile hosted the first Building Automation Days by KNX Latam, a face-to-face event that brought together experts, brands, institutions and professionals from the sector to discuss, share experiences and analyze the future of automation in the region.
At the conference, held with the support of the KNX Chile National Group, the participants discussed the current panorama and trends in the sector, promoting the creation of automation solutions.
KNX students and ambassadors such as Gerald Esparza Lagos, Víctor Caviedes Böttner and Germán Céspedes Acuña, contributed their knowledge.
The event was supported by brands such as Vimar SpA, ABB, JUNG and BAS Ingenieros, as well as institutions such as INACAP, Duoc UC, Universidad Andrés Bello and the OFOFA High School Network, which showed their commitment to technical and professional training in automation.
An example of success was exhibited by Emilio Vega Cárdenas, Senior Technology Advisor at CS Group, and the work of Jorge Martínez Campo and Jaime Hurtado Pinto, precursors of KNX in Chile, was valued.
The development of this event signals an expansion phase for automation in the area and reaffirms the commitment of the KNX community to continue focusing on smart building solutions and know-how.
The upcoming KNX LATAM virtual event is now available for registration.
