United States. In response to the growth in demand for monitoring and management software solutions in the security industry, Micro Key Solutions announced the expansion of its operations in Latin America and the Caribbean with the incorporation of two strategic profiles in the areas of business development and marketing.
The company appointed Richard Hahn to lead Marketing and Public Relations in the region and William Mejía as Business Development Manager for Latin America.
With these appointments, the company seeks to strengthen its local presence and accompany security integrators and monitoring stations in markets ranging from Mexico to the Southern Cone, in a context marked by the growing adoption of automated platforms and more sophisticated solutions.
Mejía has a track record in the sector since 1995, focused on business development and the construction of strategic alliances in Latin America and the Caribbean. For his part, Hahn brings more than three decades of experience in marketing, public relations and security media, having advised global companies such as Johnson Controls and Honeywell.
In addition, Hahn – based in Bogotá since 2007 – has been actively involved in sector organizations such as ALAS and ASIS Colombia, as well as in social initiatives such as Mission 500.
"We are thrilled to welcome William and Richard to the Micro Key family," said Chuck Speck, vice president of the company. "Their combined experience and deep-rooted relationships in the Latin American market are unmatched. As we continue to evolve our software to meet the unique needs of international monitoring stations, it is essential to have a team that understands local nuances from Mexico to the Southern Cone. This expansion is a testament to our dedication to the LATAM region."
According to the company, both executives will aim to boost brand positioning, facilitate the digital transition of security providers and expand the reach of their portfolio of solutions in the region.
