Latin America. Faced with the increasing security challenges in the transportation sector, Seguritech Integral Security announced the introduction of its GPS Satellite Monitoring system, which is part of its Cyber W solution, aimed at reducing thefts and accidents through real-time tracking.
The transportation sector, crucial for the movement of goods and people, faces significant security challenges, especially in Mexico. According to Seguritech, "it requires innovative and effective solutions" to address this circumstance. Information from the International Transport Organization shows that about "25 percent of financial losses in the industry are attributed to theft and accidents linked to the absence of proper surveillance." Likewise, a report by Deloitte states that "78% of customers prefer to work with companies that guarantee full visibility of their shipments".
Mauricio Kleinburg, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Seguritech Integral Security, explained that the new system is designed to offer total monitoring and security on a continuous basis: "Our solution uses various technological platforms and notifies mobile devices via SMS and email of alerts at the time pre-established events and alarms are generated. which can be tracked through a mobile application or in the cloud through our platform designed expressly for this purpose."
The system allows multiple functions to be performed: from locating devices in real time, remotely managing GPS equipment, consulting notifications, accessing information details, to making virtual visits at street level. The geolocation technology used allows "to generate detailed information that analyzes the location and movements made of each resource," Kleinburg said.
Its capabilities include long-range tracking, awareness of surrounding elements, alert notifications, route timeline, and device operational status. This, says the CTO, represents a significant advance in asset protection and logistics efficiency.
Finally, he listed the additional benefits: "historical storage of alarms and events; log consultation; historical record of vehicle and fleet routes; as well as immediate attention to SOS calls."
With this technological commitment, Seguritech seeks to offer solutions aligned with the growing demands of modern transport in terms of safety, efficiency and traceability.
