Axis Communications strengthens its strategy for Latin America and rewards innovation at the Partner Summit 2025

Latin America. The city of Cancun hosted Axis Communications' Partner Summit 2025, a key meeting for the Swedish company, which brought together more than 300 participants and 220 strategic partners from different Latin American countries.

For four days, the event served as a stage to present the axes of the company's regional strategy, as well as to recognize the performance of its business partners and showcase the latest technological developments in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) applied to security, operational intelligence and business efficiency.

The summit, which took place between April 7 and 10 in the Riviera Maya, confirmed Axis' commitment to expand its portfolio beyond traditional video surveillance, positioning sectors such as critical infrastructure, data centers, smart cities, transportation, energy, banking and retail as priorities in its roadmap for 2025.

With the slogan "Connection and Heritage", the company highlighted the technological heritage of the Mayan culture as a reason to exhibit a regional orientation towards innovation. "Like the Maya, we face challenges inventively and build a heritage based on innovation and technological advances. Our solutions not only connect and protect, but also drive the creation of a smarter world," said Leopoldo Ruiz, regional director for Latin America, during the opening.

An expanding tech ecosystem

The involvement of the regional sales team was key to outlining the brand's objectives in Latin America. Officials from nations such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Argentina highlighted the company's progress in 2024, driven by the adoption of new solutions based on artificial intelligence, cloud services, data analytics at the edge, and audio, intercom and access management technologies.

Luis Bonilla, Director of Business Development and Sales Engineering, emphasized the relevance of these instruments to update the security ecosystem. "The Partner Summit 2025 underscored the importance of incorporating booming technologies such as the cloud and artificial intelligence to face the challenges present in the sector."

From the marketing area, Axis' commitment to accompany its partners with training tools, specialized consultancies, co-marketing actions and visibility of success stories was reinforced. "The objective is to maximize the commercial impact of our partners and strengthen their positioning strategies," explained Mariana Ramírez, Marketing Manager for Latin America.

Regional recognition and growth

The event also served as a space to consolidate links with key technology and integration partners. Institutions such as Genetec, Radwin, Vaelsys, Scansource, Wesco Anixter, and Panduit showcased their collaborations with Axis, while companies such as Flex (Mexico) and Scala Data Centers (Brazil) shared their experiences in implementing advanced security solutions.

At the closing ceremony, Axis Communications presented awards to outstanding partners in several categories, including increased sales, innovation in booming technologies, and leadership in end-to-end solutions. The purpose of this proposal is to highlight the best practices of its partners and to foster a culture of cooperation in technological innovation in the region.
