Latin America. The compact floor-mounted fiber rack solution simplifies and accelerates management in high-density data centers.
CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM), announced the launch of its Propel XFrame solution as the latest addition to its Propel portfolio of high-performance data center solutions. The Propel XFrame solution is a floor-mounted fiber rack designed to withstand and evolve with the demands of data centers and high-performance computing facilities.
"We believe the Propel XFrame solution is the answer to the most pressing needs of our data center customers. The rapid pace of data center evolution requires scalable solutions that work within the limits of available space, time and budget, and this solution responds to that," said Erik Gronvall, vice president of data center strategy and technology at CommScope.
He added: "Infrastructures within data centers and high-performance computing facilities are being affected by AI deployments and high-density fiber mesh architectures. This solution has a flexible modular design that allows for faster and easier changes or reconfigurations with fiber connections as networks evolve."
Highlights of the Propel XFrame solution include:
· Optimize data center space with a low profile and multiple deployment configurations.
· Expand data center manager options by maximizing the use of Propel components and panels with a rack that supports multiple standardized connector types.
· Possibility of reducing labor costs thanks to front access to all panels. Plus, horizontal and vertical cable management keeps cabling organized for faster, more accurate moves, additions, and changes.
Available worldwide by the end of the second trimester, the Propel XFrame low-profile solution can be placed against a wall, back to back, or as a standalone frame for maximum deployment agility. The modular solution simplifies high-density fiber cross-connections with single-length patch cords and pre-terminated assemblies and splices.
