Latin America. At ISC West 2025, Milestone Systems will showcase solutions designed to optimize public safety, video management, and hybrid system deployment. On the other hand, it will present Project Hafnia, an NVIDIA-backed initiative for training artificial intelligence models with high-quality video data.
Harnessing the power of video data
"The combination of solutions from Milestone's portfolio allows organizations to integrate all their cameras, sensors and locations into a centralized platform and tailor the deployment to their specific needs, while allowing them to use the latest analytics and AI technologies to fully leverage the potential of video data. This means they can maximize the reach and results they can achieve with our video technology," said Morten Illum, Chief Revenue Officer at Milestone.
Public safety: faster responses and more effective investigations
"As of 2024, almost all criminal cases include some form of digital evidence, posing unprecedented challenges for law enforcement agencies and prosecutors. Ensuring the protection and reliability of evidence is critical to meeting these challenges and conducting successful investigations," said Tim Palmquist, vice president of Milestone Systems Americas.
"Our products enable law enforcement and other public safety agencies to respond more quickly to incidents, streamline case preparation, and more easily manage video evidence, making a significant impact, not only for direct users, but also for the safety of individuals and society at large," concludes Palmquist.
Hybrid cloud architecture: maximum flexibility for security
At ISC West, Milestone will showcase its new hybrid solution, which makes it easier for multi-site organizations to integrate between on-premises video management and cloud solutions.
"For companies that already operate with on-premises systems, the transition to cloud surveillance can be challenging. However, a hybrid model acts as a 'bridge' between the two infrastructures, allowing organizations to modernize their security system at their own pace or simply take advantage of the best of both approaches," explains Rahul Yadav, Chief Technology Officer at Milestone Systems.
"The expansion of our integration with Arcules will provide users with a valuable hybrid model, allowing them unprecedented flexibility to configure their video security infrastructure to their specific needs," adds Yadav. By combining XProtect with Arcules' cloud capabilities, users can modernize their security system without compromising performance.

Project Hafnia: AI and video data management with NVIDIA
In response to the growing demand for video data for AI model training, Milestone announces Project Hafnia, an initiative supported by NVIDIA Cosmos Curator. Its objective is to democratize access to high-quality video data for the development of artificial intelligence applied to security and surveillance.
"By leveraging the NVIDIA platform, Milestone Systems is helping to accelerate this new wave of powerful visual services," said Deepu Talla, vice president and general manager of Embedded and Edge Computing at NVIDIA. In addition, it adds that "the next phase in the development and adoption of AI services with visual perception and autonomous responsiveness will be possible thanks to solutions such as NVIDIA's VSS architecture, combined with optimized VLM models."
Project Hafnia will provide access to annotated and traceable data, aligned with privacy regulations, allowing developers to improve their AI models in the security realm and beyond.
