Traka to Showcase Smart Key and Asset Management Solutions at Expo Seguridad Mexico 2026

Mexico. The company will present technologies for the control of keys, electronic devices, firearms and other critical assets during the event to be held from June 2 to 4 in Mexico City.

Traka, an ASSA ABLOY company specializing in smart solutions for key and asset management, will participate in Expo Seguridad Mexico 2026, where it will showcase its most recent technological developments to strengthen security and traceability in organizations.

The company will be present at booth 551 of the event, which will take place from June 2 to 4 at the Banamex Center in Mexico City. During the exhibition, attendees will be able to learn about different solutions aimed at the control and management of keys, electronic equipment, firearms and other assets considered critical for operations.

Among the technologies that Traka will be showcasing are the Traka Touch Pro M smart cabinets, with the capacity to manage up to 20 keys; the Touch Pro S models, designed to manage up to 60 keys; and specialized lockers for the control of firearms and other high-value assets.

The company will also highlight the recent launch of Traka Touch Core, an intelligent cabinet developed for small and medium-sized organizations looking to implement professional key management through a compact, scalable and easy-to-install solution.

The Evolution of Key Control

According to the company, sectors such as banking, healthcare, hospitality, aviation, and other industries face similar challenges related to key management and monitoring access to sensitive areas.

The constant movement of internal and external personnel increases the risks associated with the loss of keys and possible unauthorized access, a situation that has driven the adoption of more advanced control technologies.

"Today companies need much more than a place to store keys. They require real-time visibility, traceability and control over who takes them, for how long and under what authorization," said Diego Cota, regional sales manager for Traka.

The company's intelligent systems allow the management of loan and repayment processes through permanent monitoring and centralized information, facilitating the identification of users, access schedules and times of use.

In addition to key management, the technology can be applied to the control of electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, and communication radios. Smart cabinets incorporate functions that allow the state of charge of equipment to be verified, for example, before authorizing its removal, helping to improve the availability of resources and operational continuity.

Another prominent application is the administration of firearms in high-security environments, such as military installations, correctional facilities, and government buildings. In these cases, the solutions allow you to establish specific permissions for each user, as well as to keep detailed records on the access and use of each weapon or device.

Integration with security ecosystems

During Expo Seguridad Mexico 2026, Traka will also showcase the integration capabilities of its solutions with other systems used in organizations.

"Beyond smart cabinets, the true value of this technology lies in its ability to integrate, automate and generate strategic information for operations," explains Diego Cota.

All the company's solutions are managed through the Traka Web platform, a software that centralizes key and asset management, allowing real-time monitoring, administration and reporting from a single interface or through multiple servers connected to the network.

"Key management should no longer be seen solely as a control or restriction mechanism. Today a key can become a source of strategic information for operations, helping to improve efficiency, traceability and security throughout the organization," Cota concluded.

Supported by ASSA ABLOY, Traka's solutions can also be integrated with access control platforms, attendance management systems and third-party directory services, contributing to the creation of more connected and efficient security ecosystems.
