Brazil. Ajax Systems, a European producer of security systems, announced its official entry into the Brazilian market with the goal of consolidating its presence in the Latin American continent. The company will provide its range of intrusion protection, video surveillance and fire detection products in the country, which will be accessible through authorized business partners.
The expansion strategy in Brazil will be led by Eduardo Félix, who will assume the position of national sales manager. "My mission is to effectively lead Ajax's development in Brazil, establishing strategic partnerships, understanding the unique characteristics of the local market and offering solutions that truly make a difference in people's lives," said Felix. He added that it will seek to combine innovation, solid relationships and a long-term vision.
For his part, Diego DiGiuseppe, cluster director for Southern Europe and Latin America, highlighted the relevance of the Brazilian market: "We see great potential in key sectors such as telecommunications, residential security, banking and retail. Our goal is to introduce our cutting-edge security solutions and set new standards in the industry, just as we have done in other countries."
According to data from the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies (ABESE), the electronic security sector in Brazil closed 2023 with revenues of more than R$12 billion, registering an average growth of 13.75%. An increase of 18.5% is anticipated by 2024, driven by the adoption of automation technologies and AI-based features, which are already present in 54% of products.
