Latin America. The company has introduced the IndoorCam. Designed for homes, small offices, and small and medium-sized businesses, it combines Wi-Fi connectivity with Ajax security standards. It has a backup communication channel using the Jeweller radio protocol, built-in artificial intelligence and encrypted data transmission.
Integrated video surveillance
The device features a 4 MP camera, HDR, and IR lighting of up to 8 meters. The PIR sensor identifies motion up to 4 meters away, and built-in artificial intelligence makes it easy to identify individuals, pets, or cars. In addition, it has a microphone and a speaker for two-way communication, with noise suppression and echo cancellation.
Privacy Issues
The Ajax IndoorCam makes it easy to incorporate into the Ajax protection system. The information in the system is stored in the European Union and the video recordings are encrypted during storage and dissemination. Users can manage permissions for live streams and recordings from the Ajax app. Only people authorized by the system administrator can access the visual data.
Video management and storage
The IndoorCam supports Ajax NVR, Ajax Cloud Storage, and the JetSparrow protocol, developed for quick access to live streams and video files. This protocol allows you to start live streams and browse recordings continuously.
Communication
The camera can be connected to an Ajax hub, providing an additional channel of communication. It has a Wi-Fi range of up to 500 meters in line of sight. If the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted, continue to send events, alarms, and photos using the Jeweller and Wings protocols. The communication distance to a data center can reach 1,700 meters.
The IndoorCam has the possibility of being incorporated into the Ajax security system by reading a QR code. Settings are managed from the desktop and mobile apps. It is possible to synchronize with Ajax detectors to begin automatic recording by activating certain sensors, facilitating visual verification of events.
