Latin America. The Safety & Fire Conference will take place from June 24, 2025 to June 26, as part of an industrial safety exhibition that celebrates its 17th edition at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. The meeting brings together industry professionals to address key issues in fire prevention, industrial safety rules, working environment and civil law.
The conference program is endorsed by the International University of Knowledge and Research (UNICI), an institution recognized for its educational approach to occupational safety and civil protection. In three days, participants will be able to access technical content and regulatory updates organized into three thematic axes: fire, standards and civil protection.
Those who attend the full program will receive a formal certificate, endorsed by UNICI, which adds academic and professional value to the experience.
Among the confirmed speakers are:
Jaime Gutiérrez, coordinator of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the State of Mexico, who will present the conference Safe investment: fire prevention as a pillar of economic development.
Cecilia Acosta, Director General of Occupational Safety and Welfare, S. de R. L. de C. V., will give the presentation Risk Mapping under the ILO SAFE WORK methodology, focused on occupational risk management based on international standards.
Israel Carrillo, director of CRESTCAP of the OOAD Regional State of Mexico West of the IMSS, will talk about strategies for the prevention of occupational risks, highlighting the importance of current regulations and best practices in occupational safety.
The event is supported by national and international organizations such as NFPA, IIAR, Prevencionar and IPAF, reinforcing its role as a key meeting point for technical updating and professional networking in the security industry.
