International. Convergint today announced the acquisition of Delco Security, a division of Delco Automation Inc. This acquisition strengthens Convergint's capabilities in key verticals and supports its strategic growth in North America.
Founded in 2006, Delco Security is one of Canada's leading Master System Integrators (MSIs), specializing in the integration of complex technologies. The company offers fully integrated and unified solutions in markets such as corrections, healthcare, higher education, elementary and secondary schools, commercial real estate, utilities, and government.
Delco stands out for its ability to integrate information, communication, and automation technologies (ICAT), as well as information management and information technology (IMIT), going beyond traditional security. Its solutions include nurse call systems, real-time location systems (RTLS), network communications, public address systems, and security technologies, all unified to meet the complex requirements of its customers.
The acquisition of Delco Security will add more than 70 new employees to Convergint, enabling the company to meet the growing demand for advanced technology solutions in North America.
