Argentina. Grupo CGM, an Argentine company specialized in the design and manufacture of products for energy, mining and telecommunications under IoT environments, will participate in the AOG EXPO 2025, where it will present the second generation of YCAM smart cameras. These devices were developed entirely by CGM, after a first generation designed in conjunction with Y-TEC, YPF's technology company.
The XV edition of AOG EXPO 2025 will take place from September 8 to 11 at the La Rural fairgrounds. YCAM cameras are designed to operate in explosive atmospheres (ATEX) and allow thermal images to be captured, processed and analyzed in real time and in the infrared spectrum, sending the data to the associated remote monitoring system. Applications in the Oil & Gas industry include early detection of leaks and spills, monitoring of reservoir production losses, tank control, fire risk prevention, and protection of facilities and personnel. They can also be used in sectors such as the chemical, mining or agricultural industries.
YCAM incorporates connectivity options that facilitate its integration into IoT platforms, allowing the visualization of events in real time and the generation of notifications and alarms for immediate response.
"We are very excited to participate in AOG EXPO 2025 and to have the opportunity to present our technology solutions, developed locally to respond to specific market challenges. It is a great opportunity to share our catalog of solutions and terminals, and continue strengthening the national energy ecosystem," said Aníbal Stancanelli, managing partner of Grupo CGM.
