Colombia. HID will present at the ESS+ 2025 International Security Fair the HID® Amico™ biometric facial recognition reader, which will be exhibited for the first time in Colombia. The event will be held from August 27 to 29 in Corferias, Bogotá, in its 31st edition.
The company will be present at booth 120 and will participate in the ALAS Panel, where Jorge Bejarano, recently appointed Senior Sales Manager Mobile Access for Latin America at HID, will offer the conference "Biometric Authentication, keys to take your access control to the next level", on Friday, August 29 at 2:45 p.m. local time.
Bejarano pointed out that "this meeting is the ideal scenario to demonstrate how the brand's innovations contribute to strengthening physical security and moving towards more interoperable ecosystems."
During the show, visitors will be able to learn about HID technologies and participate in 30-minute training sessions on a variety of topics. An interactive virtual reality experience will also be offered to explore simulated environments and use the brand's solutions in operational scenarios.
Among the solutions HID will be showcasing at ESS+ 2025 are:
- HID Amico: biometric reader with facial recognition technology endorsed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the United States (NIST).
- HID Mobile Access and HID Sign readers, which allow the use of mobile devices as access credentials.
- HID Vento: Line of mobile readers and credentials for medium-sized organizations.
- HID Aero and Mercury controllers for access control infrastructure.
- HID FARGO HDP5000e and HDP6600 printers, and the HID® FARGO Connect cloud platform for credential issuance.
"Our participation in ESS+ 2025 reaffirms HID's commitment to the development of innovative technological tools that respond to the current challenges in Latin America and, in that sense, we invite all professionals in the sector to live this experience and discover how we transform the way organizations protect, authenticate and connect their users," Bejarano concluded.
