Hikvision opens call for Mexican integrators to participate in the HikTech Star 2025 global contest

Hikvision announced the second edition of the HikTech Star global contest, an initiative aimed at security professionals in Mexico that seeks to highlight creativity, technical knowledge and stories related to the use of its technologies.

The call is open to people over 18 years of age with legal residence in Mexico. Participants must have a valid passport and the necessary documents to make an international trip. The prize is non-transferable and the trip will take place on the dates established by Hikvision.

To participate, those interested must follow the official accounts of Hikvision Mexico on LinkedIn as @Hikvision Mexico, and on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok as @hikvisionmx. They must also upload an original video in which they demonstrate their technological skills or applied knowledge of the brand's products.

According to Fran Sánchez, Marcom Director at Hikvision Mexico, five integrators in the country will be selected to travel to China, where they will visit the company's headquarters, attend the global awards ceremony and get to know the city of Hangzhou. The prize includes a round flight, lodging and food for one person throughout the stay.

"We invite all people who are passionate about technology to share their talent and be part of this unique experience. Creativity, innovation and knowledge will be the protagonists in this new edition of HikTech Star," said the executive.

Videos can be submitted between June 23 and August 23, 2025. Only those contents published and viewed within that period will be considered. The trip to China will take place in October, on dates defined by the company.

Videos must be submitted in one of the following categories:

Idea Lab: content on strategic CCTV and Non-CCTV products, featured features or solutions for SMEs. It should explain how the brand's products are used in a business in a creative way.

Tech Vibe: Explanatory content on the technological relevance of Hikvision products and advanced technical knowledge.

Hik Stories: personal stories about how the brand has transformed the lives of participants. Women who install Hikvision technology or those who use artificial intelligence to learn and work with the brand are invited.

Those interested must upload their video to TikTok or Instagram, tag the @hikvisionmx account and use the hashtags #HikTechStar2025MX, #SoyMexicano/a and #YoInstaloHikvision.

Videos will be judged by a panel of judges based on their creativity, originality, quality of presentation, depth of knowledge demonstrated and compliance with contest guidelines. The decision of the jury will be final.

In addition to the trip, Hikvision Mexico will give 15 $2,000 MXN e-wallets to the best videos that do not win the trip, in recognition of their participation.

The names of the five winners will be publicly announced between September 1 and 5, 2025 through the brand's official social networks. Each winner will be contacted by private message on TikTok or Instagram and must confirm acceptance of the prize within a maximum period of five business days. If no response is obtained, a new winner will be chosen.
