IDIS Smart Privacy Masks eliminates the common problems of conventional masking techniques, such as the inability to detect people and the incorrect application of masks and zone configurations that can blur entire areas, making it difficult to differentiate between people and objects. Importantly, IDIS Smart Privacy Masks combines the advantages of object detection and heatmaps with the deep learning and processing of the IDIS Solution Suite (ISS) enterprise VMS to achieve significantly higher accuracy.
Since IDIS privacy masking takes place directly on board the ISS, its resource consumption is exceptionally efficient. This ensures a stable, high-resolution video stream, maintaining usable images and forensic evidence while protecting privacy.
