Vertiv Announces Felipe Vasco as Director of Technology Applications for Latin America

Latin America. Vertiv announced that Felipe Vasco has been appointed as the new director of technology applications for Vertiv Latin America. In this role, he will lead dozens of professionals with multidisciplinary expertise distributed throughout the region. The team, with a consultative approach, provides recommendations to customers on comprehensive data center technologies and services, with the goal of accelerating the adoption of compute capabilities.

"The Vasco team is a strategic core that collects information from all areas of the organization, as well as from customers and partners.  From there, it designs innovative applications with excellent cost-benefit ratio, aligned with the best energy efficiency practices," said Alex Sasaki, vice president of Vertiv LATAM. "In his new role, Vasco becomes a point of convergence between Vertiv's technological strength and customer challenges, building trusting relationships with leaders who make decisions today that will impact tomorrow's digital economy. The intelligence and commitment to excellence of Vertiv LATAM's technology applications team contribute to our region gaining more and more prominence."

"The expansion of data centers and the growing adoption of artificial intelligence are putting the spotlight on the market challenges in designing, deploying, and managing hybrid data centers. This includes everything from white spaces dedicated to AI training or inference, to areas that continue to perform more traditional processing. During this transition, the technology applications team collaborates effectively to ensure that advances towards AI are built on solid foundations," says Sasaki.
