Argentina. Last November, the Gender Hackathon "Technological Solutions to Combat Gender Violence" was held. The virtual event, organized by the Ministry of Productive Development, aimed to promote disruptive proposals aimed at responding to problems related to the prevention of situations of gender violence, giving an important place to technology and innovation in the management of situations associated with this violence.
SoftGuard participated by presenting its technological solution Código Violeta, the app that provides a comprehensive approach to situations of gender violence through prevention, monitoring, assistance and access to justice, allowing reporting with multimedia functions to public and private monitoring centers in an easy and fast way.

After an extensive participation process that brought together more than 150 projects and passed all the instances, the Violeta Code app was chosen in the winning shortlist of the Hackathon and its representatives: Virginia D'Eric, Commercial Director of SoftGuard, along with Sergio Gutiérrez, advisor of the Safe Municipality program, met with the head of the Gender Cabinet of the productive portfolio, Paula Basaldúa, to receive the recognition granted for the work done.
The Violet Code app is being implemented in municipalities that aim to provide real prevention, care, comprehensive approach and access to justice to women who suffer gender violence every day.
