The Gunnebo Group has completed the acquisition of the Italian access control company HC2, which develops high-security access solutions and customized access doors for the retail industry. The acquisition allows to expand the offer for Gunnebo Entrance Control customers, strengthening its presence as a world leader in access control solutions for the office and building, public transport, high security and retail segments.
Stefan Syrén, President and CEO, said: "We are very pleased to welcome the organisation and HC2 customers to the Gunnebo family. HC2 represents a valuable and complementary addition to Gunnebo's access control business. From now on, our teams will jointly support our customers with new solutions and opportunities."

Together, we will grow thanks to the increase in strength and opportunities."
It is worth noting that the Gunnebo Group is on a trajectory of change that began in 2019 by transforming Gunnebo's former regional sales structure into three main business units operating globally: Entrance Control, Safe Storage and Cash Management. The Gunnebo Group empowers its business units to grow through customer-centric innovation, combined with the expansion of products and market segments. HC2 will play a key role in the growth process of Gunnebo Entrance Control in the future.
"This is an important day for HC2 and for our customers. Being part of the Gunnebo Group as specialists in the sector, gives us the necessary impetus to accelerate our production, sales and customer-centric innovation. Together, we will stand out with the growing needs of the high-security lathe and door market for the retail industry," says Valerio Bezzi, Managing Director of HC2.
