United States. Planned for June 15-18 in Orlando, the NFPA Conference & Expo organization has decided to cancel the event and now the event will be held in the week of June 21, 2021 in Las Vegas.
"Although this is an important event for NFPA and its stakeholders, at this time, the world continues to be significantly affected by COVID-19, and it will not be possible to host and conduct this event in Orlando in June. The well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, business partners and staff is of the utmost importance to us," said Jim Pauley, President and CEO of NFPA.
"We didn't come to this decision easily or without much consideration. It's important to us, and it's important to all of you. Just as it has been for more than 100 years, our annual event is a key catalyst for advancing fire, life and electricity safety around the world. This meeting is where new and updated codes and standards move forward; the results of the latest research are revealed; Products and services that support prevention and protection are showcased and attendees are given one of the most productive opportunities to network with peers around the world who share the same commitment to reducing losses."
