Latin America. The new technology in fingerprint recognition comes to provide a solution in access control, by allowing to capture up to four fingerprints without any physical contact between the device and the user, thanks to the fact that it is only necessary to pass the hand over the reader for the respective validation to occur.
In addition to providing more hygiene to the biometrics process, it speeds up the authorization process since it guarantees the access of more than 60 people per minute, since the user does not need to stop his march for the reading to be carried out.
This device detects the fingerprint in 3D with 30% more information than a conventional sensor for each finger, also has algorithms for false finger detection, which gives maximum reliability and has allowed it to be implemented in environments that require high security protocols.
With the possibility of creating 100% digital access control systems, Axis accelerates the global process of technological migration and enables innovations for access management such as the use of QR codes, identification of people by biometric reading and vehicular access control.
In the words of Diana Ardila, Regional Sales Manager for South America and Northern Cone of Axis Communications "This type of events allow us to project the present and future of video surveillance and integral security, so it is very important for us to bring real exhibitions and present them to the attending public, so that all the solutions we have been developing can be appreciated first-hand".
