30/03/2011. Mexico, DF.- The Director of Prison Security of the Federal District, Fidel Alonso Ceballos, presented his resignation from the position since March 15, however, he will remain in his functions that he will develop at least until March 31.
The local Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System confirmed the above and detailed that the capital official resigned from his duties upon receiving an invitation to study a specialty abroad.
The agency stressed that Alonso Ceballos does not have any observations of a criminal or administrative nature, so the agency recognized his work.
He added that this person met all the necessary requirements for the performance of his work, among which are to have experience, not have a criminal record, not be disqualified by any Comptroller for the exercise of public offices and pass the honesty exams.
This person, who was the head of the Directorate of Prison Security of the Federal District, "complied with all the protocols that the regulations require and has 30 days from his delivery to formulate the patrimonial declaration of conclusion that the Law requires," the agency highlights in a statement.
Alonso Ceballos has a degree in Business Administration and has more than 20 years in public service and among other positions has served as General Coordinator of Federal Centers of the Ministry of Public Security during 2005.
