Latin America. Genetec announced the launch of its SV-16v3 network security appliance. Genetec's latest addition to the Network Security Appliamce (NSA) family of Network Security Devices will be powered by the Intel Core i3 processor for increased processing speed, flexibility and value for customers.
It will also offer connectivity to Genetec's Cloud Archives Services for increased video retention, and reduced storage investment. The new SV-16v3 will be unveiled at ASIS 2015 in Anaheim, California (September 28 to October 1), at booth #2639, and is expected to be available through Genetec's worldwide distribution network before the end of 2015.
The NSA SV-16v3 will have support for the Security Center Mobile and Web Client; In addition, it will provide real-time notifications, alarm management and video viewing through the Security Center from any location. The pre-installed SV Control Panel will offer a simplified wizard that will guide the user step by step in the installation and configuration for a quick installation. The automatic update tool will ensure the installation of the latest versions of the software as soon as the system is installed.
The SV-16v3 has been redesigned with a new case and packaging to keep the small size factor. The new internal hardware and software updates will provide better recording and better support for local video decoding, as well as acting as an operator workstation that provides a convenient and versatile solution for small camera installation and door counting.
