Latin America. Tyco Security Products introduces exacqVision Network Video Recorders (NVRs) with the Kantech EntraPass Corporate Edition access control system pre-installed for faster and simpler installation and security service.
exacqVision network video recorders provide comprehensive, high-performance network video surveillance solutions. ExacqVision recorders, available in hybrid and IP models, offer reliability and capability for overall video recording.
Designed for ease of installation, the Kantech EntraPass Corporate Edition system is pre-installed and licensed in the exacqVision A-Series and Z-Series network video recorders for Windows. By having the access control system loaded on the video server, savings in hardware, power and cooling are generated, while reducing the amount of rack space required.
Users can control from a small group to millions of doors in various parts of the world. Each recorder supports up to 20 workstations and up to 50 concurrent instances of EntraPass Web or the EntraPass Go mobile app.
The recorded and real-time video can be viewed and managed directly from the recorder using the included exacqVision client or remotely from a web browser or the exacqVision client on another computer. The client software, freely distributed, can be installed on Windows, Linux or Mac. exacqVision CameraLinks makes the most necessary access control commands available to the operator. With CameraLinks, users can configure the embedded controls that will appear when the mouse is positioned on a camera with a real-time view allowing it to respond faster to alarms and critical events.
"With the incorporation of the Kantech EntraPass access control system in our exacqVision recorders, users can configure both video and access control from the same interface to have a more complete and accessible security solution," explains Mauricio Cañas, Product and Marketing Manager of the Video Line of Tyco Security Products for Latin America. "The combination of access control on our recorders also simplifies installation, saving time and money."
For a comprehensive security solution, users can easily integrate DSC PowerSeries Neo intrusion control devices. The combination of recorded and live video with access control and intrusion detection events unifies security features into a single solution, reducing duplication of effort.
Each exacqVision recorder includes three years of hardware warranty and three years of free software upgrades.
