International. Milestone Systems launched a new version of the market-leading XProtect® VMS product suite aimed at partners and customers. The needs of the partners, the axis of the new launch.
The dizzying changes taking place in our world make short product development cycles a necessity. In response to feedback from the Milestone partner community, significant improvements have been made to the XProtect® software that will allow for frequent product releases. Each year there will be three major VMS product launches, in addition to the bimonthly releases of new versions of the device packs, with the aim of supporting third-party cameras. Having several annual releases will ensure that Milestone can respond in a timely manner to market demands, with a schedule of more frequent releases enabling the implementation of new features and feature enhancements to existing products, within a very short lead timeframe. The launch of XProtrect® 2016 is the largest development effort in Milestone's history.
Milestone has also created new beta versions for Milestone Solution Partners (MSPs). This allows developers to first examine new integration options, new features of the VMS product group, and gives them the ability to engage directly with Milestone's development teams. This feedback contributes to further improving VMS and MSP integrations.
