Latin America. This IP-based solution for remote diagnostics and maintenance increases the reliability of fire stations and maximizes operational efficiency. Bosch Remote Connection allows system integrators to remotely control installations around the clock, also to detect problems in time and for their customers to benefit from faster response and less downtime.
"Greater transparency and better efficiency – that's what we offer system integrators," says Philip Dürringer, Product Manager for fire stations at Bosch
Security Systems.
This is a modular system with three components. Since its inception it consists of remote connection, a secure Internet connection between the system integrator and the client using Bosch firewalls.
Easy and quick to install, the remote connection does not require specialized IT personnel. The system is configured remotely. It is not limited to new fire panels and can also be integrated with existing Bosch systems.
Using RPS (Remote Programming Software) software the remote connection can carry out programming and updates on the fire alarm panel regardless of the location.
In addition, Remote Connection allows 24-hour remote surveillance allowing faster and more specific reactions in case of a malfunction.
This can reduce travel time and the availability of service technicians can be optimized.
Along with the remote connection, you have two additional components: Remote Maintenance and Remote Alert. Remote Maintenance collects and analyzes fire system data in real time for predictive maintenance, detects errors before damage or downtime is caused. Remote Alert sends custom text messages and email notifications of alerts, directly from the dashboard for the service team.
Remote Connection for fire stations has EN-54 certifications and has been available worldwide since July 2015. Remote maintenance and Remote Alerting will be available from late 2015 and early 2016, respectively.
