Mexico. In response to the growth of the video surveillance market in Mexico, driven by population growth and the need to strengthen preventive measures in public and private sectors, Axis Communications participated in Expo Seguridad México 2025, held from June 24 to 26 at Centro Banamex.
At the event, the company presented its most recent advances focused on security, remote management and efficiency in operations. Its strategic partners and sponsors supported it: Charofil, Genetec, IncoreSoft, Panduit, Vaelsys and ASUS, which introduced additional solutions within the framework of the protection ecosystem.
Among the proposed solutions were:
An AI-optimized server, built for live analytics.
Network speakers with text display merge sound and visual cue.
A sophisticated air quality sensor, for monitoring the environment in essential indoor areas.
Axis Cloud Connect, a cloud platform for secure connection and remote device management.
The ARTPEC-9 chip, with enhancements for cloud video and artificial intelligence applications.
AXIS D4200-VE Network Strobe Speaker, a built-in strobe speaker.
These solutions were showcased at booth 2705, as part of a portfolio that incorporates artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sustainability and end-to-end analytics.
"Last year the market registered double-digit growth, a trend that we project will continue in the next five years thanks to the technological adoption of security issues," explained Alejandro Aguirre, national sales manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
According to industry estimates, the video surveillance market in Mexico was valued at between $300 million and $350 million, including cameras, software, and facilities.
