Colombia. The volume of infractions committed in the digital sphere during the first 8 months of the year highlights the need to train more professionals in cybersecurity, reported the National Police of the Andean country.
In turn, different Colombian sectors have pointed out that the decrease of such a figure involves knowing the challenges, trends and tools available for the prevention of cybercrime on the Deep Web,
The academy is one of the estates where initiatives have emerged to address this problem. An example of this is the VII Criminal Investigation Congress 'Beyond the visible: reflections on the Deep Web in a hyperconnected world', organized by the Alberto Merani Higher Education Foundation.
This academic space is aimed at professionals and experts in cyber security, as well as researchers, lawyers, engineers and public officials interested in the subject.
The organizers have indicated that participants will strengthen their skills to understand the tactics of criminals, thus allowing a more effective development of prevention and risk mitigation strategies.
About the event
The VII Congress will be held on October 27 and will feature the participation of international speakers from countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Colombia.
During the day, lectures will be given focused on digital investigation as a tool for cyberpatrolling, identification, obtaining and analysis of evidence in the Deep Web and Deep Dark Web (risks, contents and how to access), among others.
