International. A new version of Object Analytics with improved area end-time feature (available in firmware 11.5) has just been announced by AXIS Communications.
Area time is a smart feature that can be used to trigger an event if an object remains for a long time in a certain area under monitoring. Another feature of AXIS Object Analytics is the so-called area occupancy (beta version) that counts objects within an area to estimate occupancy levels in real time.
In this way, security operators can easily access data that can be integrated into third-party applications, in order to obtain overviews and useful information.

AXIS pre-installs Object Analytics on its compatible network cameras, adding value at no additional cost. It also uses AI-based algorithms and behavioral conditions to analyze scenes and spatial dynamics of internal objects, ignoring common irrelevant sources of unwanted events.
