Latin America. Axis Communications carried out its activity called: Axis Americas Experience, an annual event created for partners with the highest volume of sales of video surveillance products and solutions during the last year in Latin America.
The winners had the opportunity to visit the Axis Experience Center in San Francisco.
The partners and integrator partners with the highest sales volumes awarded by the brand were Yeto Comunicaciones (Mexico), Alarmas Universales (Mexico), Ikusi (Mexico), Convergint (Colombia), Spectra (Colombia), M3 Tecnología (Brazil), Teleinfo (Brazil) and Videocorp (Chile).
The regional director of the company in Latin America, Leopoldo Ruiz emphasized the primary objective of this action: "We are very grateful to our partners for their participation in the Axis Americas Experience 2023, for their loyalty and commitment. This experience is our commitment to keeping customers close and up-to-date with our new technologies and solutions."
The company spokesperson also clarified that this award is only available to certified authorized partners, gold and silver. In addition, the brand announced that the call for next year's Axis Americas Experience to visit one of the 16 Axis Experince Center in America has already been opened.
New records in the deliveries of its products

On the other hand, Axis Communications announced the progress it has been making in the supply chain by registering a year-on-year increase of more than 45% in deliveries in the first quarter, constant growth until May 31 and record levels of inventory in its distribution in the Americas, a channel to meet the strong demand of integrators and end customers.
The company explained that this comes after a record 2022 that generated $1.6 trillion in global revenue and global year-over-year growth of 20%, as outlined in Axis' 2022 Sustainability Report.
Axis stated that these achievements are the result of the company's recent initiatives along with its sustainability program, which has focused on improving operational efficiency and strengthening the supply chain.
Before the pandemic, Axis Communications had already strengthened its supply chain by implementing a formal sustainability plan, which placed a greater emphasis on environmental, ethical and social factors. It was during the pandemic and the resulting global supply chain crisis, coupled with record demand for Axis products, that the brand further intensified its efforts by increasing collaboration with its channel partners and end customers to improve planning, forecasting and inventory management.
Axis also actively researches and introduces second-source suppliers, expands its use of some of the world's largest electronics manufacturing services (EMS) companies to increase production capacity, and drives digital transformation across the supply chain.
Additional innovations included redesigning more than 100 chambers, which are subject to the same strict levels of testing and quality, to match available components and create flexibility in production, aggressively investing in high-demand components to increase reserve stock, accelerating shipping methods to support customers, and investing in excess capacity with its manufacturing partners. These new operating practices, streamlined processes and expanded partnerships will become the mainstay, and ultimately have a lasting effect on Axis' ability to serve its customers now and in the future.
"Continuous improvement is part of our DNA, and adversity often breeds innovation, so the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain crisis really put us in overdrive," said Jeanette Skjelmose, vice president of operations at Axis Communications. "By diversifying and consolidating, our supply chain will have a lasting positive impact for our partners and customers, providing greater resilience to meet any future challenges."
Finally, Axis explained that despite the persistent effects of the supply chain, its initiatives helped it deliver more units than ever before during 2022. Making record unit shipments in this new year, the company is on track to surpass last year's production.
Relative to record inventories in distribution, more than 85% of Axis products are available at standard delivery times. The company said it continues to ramp up production in an effort to restore standard delivery times for the remaining products in the coming months.
