Dominican Republic. Axis Communications held its annual event, the Axis Partner Summit 2023, in Punta Cana. In this space, distributors, integrators, and technology partners gathered, in addition, the panels included topics such as leadership, management, innovation, and cybersecurity solutions.
In addition, at this same event, case studies, marketing campaigns and new lead generation strategies in Latin America were presented. On the other hand, and as an added value, the participants also connected with sponsors and commercial partners of the company in various projects in the Americas.
The inspiration for this space was, according to the company, the Formula 1 champions. The central point of the Axis Partner Summit 2023 was the challenges and opportunities of the Latin American market, which is why business strategies for this year were presented.
The meeting was attended by Leopoldo Ruiz, regional director for Latin America of Axis Communications, who opened the two days of panels of the "Grand Prix" of innovation, trends and news that marked the program of the event. At that time, Leopoldo highlighted "the strong link between confidence and business results."
Director of channel and end-customer partnerships in the Americas, Ted Wilkinson, takes a cue from Formula 1 for an inspiring talk on leadership, management and results. The competition also served as a starting point for the panel: Can you do a Formula 1 race without a pit stop? The first day of panels brought together a couple of Axis experts to discuss innovative solutions: Robert Brown, Solutions Engineer for the Americas, and Dan Vogl, Director of Business Development. Cybersecurity was also a topic at the meeting, and a central point, which has been mobilizing the efforts of the company's teams to launch truly secure network solutions prepared to prevent cybercriminal attacks. This topic was addressed by Manuel Zamudio, Manager of Industrial Associations of Axis Communications in Latin America, in the panel: The importance of accelerating cybersecurity in companies: value and impact.
The second day of conferences kept his foot on the accelerator and brought important debates to the functioning of the entire Axis ecosystem in Latin America. The Brazilian Sérgio Fukushima, Axis Business Development Manager, elaborated and related the main points on the Total Cost of Ownership. Next, the participants followed the presentation of the Daimler case study with the group's Corporate Security manager, Gustavo Melo.
In this sense, the Axis LATAM marketing team also had a participation to speak more closely with the partners about the strategies for the coming months.
Nikki Nemarich, Director of Marketing, Americas, and Mariana Ramírez, Marketing Manager, highlighted the main campaigns of the last period and pointed out the new strategies for lead generation in 2023 throughout Latin America.
