International. The Security Industry Association (SIA) announced that two new members have joined its team, in addition to announcing a new course in Spanish and a webinar, which will be held soon.
To start, SIA has just welcomed two new members: Juan Pablo Coletti and Assia Austin.
Coletti, who joins the SIA International Relations Committee, is an executive with solid business knowledge in Latin America, who describes himself as a professional “aware of global trends and regulatory requirements that impact growth and market share.”
SIA spokespersons celebrated his incorporation, stating that “with his vast experience and strategic vision, Juan Pablo reinforces our objective of fostering collaboration and increasing the professionalization of the industry.”
Also from the International Relations Committee, executive Assia Austin began to contribute to the achievement of SIA’s strategic objectives. “Challenges amuse me. “I love getting out of my comfort zone and having the opportunity to observe and learn,” says a leader linked to the Inter-Con Security company.
“Her experience strengthens the diversity of knowledge and global perspective of our committee. One word that sums up who she is and what makes her successful: Passionate! We look forward to the valuable contributions she will bring to our group!” commented SIA on her appointment.
Course and seminar
SIA announced the launch of its new course in Spanish, Pillars of Security. This course is designed to provide security professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively protect their organizations.
Additionally, the association will hold the Innovations in Security for Retail webinar on February 27 on the latest trends in cybersecurity. This webinar will be free and open to all SIA members.
