Mexico. The latest technological innovations of the Hikvision brand were unveiled during the 15th International Congress of Emergency Care Centers, coordinated by the National Emergency Number Association 911 (NENA 911).
This event, held recently in the Riviera Maya, brought together leaders from each state of Mexico and Latin America who direct, manage, coordinate and operate Emergency Call Centers.
Luis Ordoñez, Director of Projects and Verticals for Hikvision Mexico, says that in this edition they discussed fundamental aspects about the management and control of emergencies and security that, together with the authorities and organizations of the industry, establish standards and recommendations that promote the quality and continuous improvement of operations and citizen attention through the effective use of information and communications technologies, as well as the professionalization of Emergency Care Centers.
"In a smart city, a wide variety of connected devices and sensors are used to capture images and all kinds of data that help improve urban management, transport, emergency services or security. The use of Artificial Intelligence solutions applied through much more robust video analytics, allow decisions to be made in real time and have a more natural and fluid use of this type of technology".
According to data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), more than half of the planet's inhabitants already live in urban areas. Experts say the goal will be to build inclusive, resilient, sustainable and safe cities and human settlements.
In this regard, the executive points out: "At Hikvision we always try to innovate and meet the needs of the market. This is how we showed it during the celebration of this international congress, where we present an innovative portfolio of solutions that provides reliable, stable and solid municipal public safety, through a series of advanced technologies applied to various security subsystems in industries, operations centers and integrated security platforms that allow quick and effective responses to security needs and events. "
He mentions that they exhibited several novelties, starting with the HikCentral platform, which provides modular platforms for common business applications, including video, access control, attendance, as well as a new "Turret" for "all-inclusive" patrols with cameras, lights, illuminators, siren and strobes in a single device. They also presented a series of Body Cameras that capture video, audio and moving images.
All devices, facilities, software and services in the Safe City Solution strengthen municipal administration, improve people's lives and drive substantial long-term development. In this way, citizens and valuable assets are effectively protected, response time and efficiency of criminal investigation are increased, traffic is managed and vandals and unwanted intrusions are instantly deterred.
