Axis Communications has new Distribution Manager for Mexico, Central America, Caribbean and Brazil

Latin America. The company specialized in network video solutions, appointed Aidée Olvera as Distribution Manager for the region of Mexico, Central America, Caribbean and Brazil, who will be attending from the central office in Mexico City all the needs of the distributors that represent the brand.

The main objective of this appointment is not only focused on boosting the company's go-to-market, but on growing distributors. Olvera will seek to enable, professionalize, create and build an expert and trained structure, so that Product Managers can meet the ecosystem of opportunities that are being generated in the market. It will also seek to enable and turn those opportunities into tangible businesses throughout this year.

On the other hand, one of the most important strategies of the directive is to develop initiatives with distributors, where its main goal is to consolidate a product offer so that partners can offer video surveillance solutions that meet the needs of integration channels and end users.

"My main objective is for distributors to identify in Axis an ally to materialize their goals. Part of the purposes I seek to achieve is to adjust the delivery times so that they can have all the necessary resources in a timely manner, in order to generate more successful projects. I am very interested in strengthening a culture where working together generates growth for everyone, from the distributor, integrator and end user," says Aideé Olvera.

With the entry of Aideé to the team led by Leopoldo Ruiz, current Regional Director, it seeks to strengthen the presence that Axis has in the region, strengthen the partners they already have, in addition to growing the network of channels through the generation of demand for security solutions for various vertical markets.

"Axis in a company that continues to expand, so I am sure that Aidée will bring to the company the necessary expertise to strengthen our business model, where distributors are a fundamental piece to expand the possibilities of network audio and video, access control, radars, analytics, and more. Adding her to the team is a sign that we remain committed to our network of channels to help them meet all their goals this year that, without a doubt, looks very positive for the sector," said Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director for Latin America.

Aidée Olvera has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cuautitlán Izcalli. He has 24 years of experience in the industry and has specialized in technical support, sales, recruitment, accompaniment and development of channels for the generation of demand for solutions. Previously he held the position of Sales Manager in the offer of Single Phases and Infrastructure for Wholesalers for Mexico and the Caribbean at Schneider Electric. He has also been part of companies such as PALM and Samsung.
