International. HID Global announced the addition of multidimensional authentication technology in the cloud to its unified identity and access management platform called WorkforceID.
WorkforceID ID authentication uses the HID multidimensional authentication platform, used in consumer applications, including mobile and online banking. It becomes part of an increasingly extensive set of solutions for employee ID credential management, visitor management and other reliable staff identification solutions.

It easily integrates with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), which is installed in the Microsoft customer environment or Azure AD, which runs in the cloud. The WorkforceID authentication solution extends HID's already extensive authentication ecosystem, including its comprehensive credential offering and the WorkforceID digital credential manager that makes it easy to manage the personnel authenticators used in both physical and digital access.
