United States. Milestone Systems announced that it will not participate in ISC West 2021, the largest trade show for the converged security industry in this North American nation. Due to the continued spread of Covid-19 in this country, Milestone is implementing this proactive health measure.
"We have been monitoring this situation very closely for more than a year," said Tim Palmquist, vice president for the Americas at Milestone Systems.
"Unfortunately, the continued increased risk of COVID-19 means we will return to in-person events only when it is safe to do so. We are prioritizing people over the benefits of our participation in ISC West 2021. We believe that not having a formal presence at the show is the best decision for the benefit of all our stakeholders at this time," Palmquist said.
Milestone Systems continues to support the ISC West event and intends to attend in 2022. The company said it is considering alternative ways to share the essential information it prepared for this show.
