United States. The Latin American Security Association - ALAS - and the magazine Ventas de Seguridad, organizers of the ALAS Management Summit, announced that the event will be held in Miami on September 30 and October 1, after being postponed in 2020 due to Covid-19.
The organizing committee also announced the possibility that the format of the event incorporates streaming to guarantee an educational and networking experience according to the new times.
"What we want is for them to take advantage of the ALAS Summit 2021 so that they can have the greatest number of contacts and continue and increase their businesses and projects," said Alberto Álvarez, CEO of ALAS. "We are looking for this security sector to be renewed, we will be at a time when the way of doing events has already been rethought enough. It is very possible that we will have a hybrid format and we will evaluate this as we have information about the post-pandemic," he added.
"To strengthen commercial ties, we must resume face-to-face activities. Hopefully by the second half of 2021 we can be traveling and visiting our customers in person. And that is why we announce with great encouragement the dates of La Cumbre 2021," said Max Jaramillo, show director of La Cumbre ALAS.
"During the ALAS Summit 2021 in person, all hygiene and safety protocols will be followed, so we hope to see you at this great event and thus celebrate the 10th Anniversary," concluded Alberto Álvarez, CEO of the Latin American Security Association.
The next edition of the WINGS Summit will take place at the James L. Knight Center and will be the occasion to bring the industry together and celebrate 10 years of the event. See you in 2021!
