Christie launches new LCD displays for security applications

Christie LCDInternational. Christie launched the next generation of the Secure Series, a range of LCD displays designed with performance and security in mind. The Secure II Series adds to that product line the viewing of multiple sources without a processor and will be available in five sizes, from 55 to 98 inches.

But the strength of Christie's Secure Series is its non-RF video transmission capability, critical for government or military installations, as well as for any application that requires content projected on screen to be protected from external interference. The Secure II Series complies with ADA standards and among the advanced capabilities it incorporates are the OPS slot, an even smaller bezel and DICOM simulation mode for advanced grayscale reproduction, as well as X-ray analysis and medical examinations for training purposes.

"The Secure II Series LCD displays are designed for demanding applications and feature a sleek new profile. They also have updated input connectivity and multi-source viewing capability. The displays combine professional aspects into a safe and economical package, and meet TAA standards," explains John Dixon, Senior Product Manager at Christie.

Thousands of installations around the world have turned to Christie's line of high-performance displays, including Singapore's ITE College Central, which uses Secure Series displays as relay monitors in its multi-purpose theatre; a meeting room for executives in the largest private company in Ecuador, which installed a video wall of the Extreme Series; or the Montgomery County Emergency Operations Center which also uses the Extreme Series to monitor large-scale events.

The Secure II Series will be on the market at the beginning of December, in its 75 and 86-inch versions, which will be followed at the beginning of 2021 by the 55 and 65 models. The 98-inch is now available.
