International. Effective Oct. 1, Thomas Jensen will take over as Milestone Systems' new CEO, the company's board of directors announced.

His experience at Hewlett-Packard and, more recently, at Bechtle, Europe's largest information technology integrator company, make Thomas Jensen an executive leader with a strong global presence. He has been responsible for the financial statements of international software and hardware companies. He has extensive business experience in technology and information technology, as well as a deep understanding of the dynamics of business communities, technology partners and integrators. People are at the heart of Thomas Jensen's management philosophy, a principle that resonates with Milestone Systems' Scandinavian managerial values and the paramount place its managers place people. In this regard, Thomas Jensen states:

Thomas Jensen will join Milestone after working at Bechtle, Europe's largest B2B IT service provider, where he served as executive vice president and board member.
Prior to this, he was Head of International Channel Sales Strategy for HP Inc. in Palo Alto, California, United States, where he drove global channel development. During the process leading up to the Hewlett-Packard division between HP Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Thomas led the channel separation and was responsible for preparing HP Inc.'s new indirect revenue strategy and organization. Before moving to the United States, Thomas was general manager of Hewlett-Packard's PC & Print division in Denmark.
Thomas Jensen has also held management positions at Vestas Wind Systems and Maersk Line. He holds a Master of Science degree in International Business Administration from Aalborg University and completed the Executive Program at INSEAD (France).
