Mexico. Due to the development of COVID-19 in Mexico, Milestone Systems officially announced the decision to withdraw its participation from Expo Seguridad Mexico 2020, which will take place from April 21 to 23 in Mexico City.
Milestone explained that it has been closely following the development of this event and as reported by the Ministry of Health of that country, the company took this proactive health measure.
"The health of our partners, employees and customers is our top priority," said Tim Palmquist, vice president of the Americas at Milestone Systems. "As COVID-19 continues to spread around the world, we are taking this precautionary measure for the well-being of our partners, and in general of all people in the industry in Latin America. In the same way, we are analyzing alternative ways to share the most important information we had prepared for Expo Seguridad Mexico," he concluded.
At the moment, Expo Seguridad Mexico continues firm in the development of the event despite the fact that companies such as Syscom have already announced that they will not attend the fair on the scheduled dates.
