Mexico. The coronavirus alert begins to generate reactions for Expo Seguridad Mexico, despite the fact that the fair has not expressed intentions to postpone its realization, companies such as Syscom have already canceled their participation in the show that is scheduled for April 21 to 23.
Through a statement, Syscom said: "The safety of our co-workers and customers is the most important thing for us, therefore we decided not to attend ExpoSeguridad this year. We have been following the development of COVID-19 very closely, we are taking special hygiene measures and very attentive to the information of our authorities."
Syscom will use other tools to publicize its new releases. "We will leverage electronic media to share these new technologies on SYSCOM Youtube, SYSCOM Blog and SYSCOM Facebook."
Other companies such as HID, Milestone, Tyco, Avigilon, Adises, Motorola, Dahua, have also questioned their participation. Even some of these brands hope to define in the coming days whether or not they attend the show in Mexico.
For its part, the organization of the fair does not yet communicate any consideration about the cancellation of the show.
