Arcules and Siemens confirm strategic partnership

International. Arcules, a cloud-based integrated video and access control services company, announced a partnership with Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) to provide its integrated video surveillance service to modern businesses. The collaboration aims to be global, starting in North America.

The partnership between Arcules and Siemens demonstrates the growing importance of cloud-based security solutions, which have recently experienced tremendous growth. By offering the Arcules Service, Siemens can offer a robust cloud-based solution to help modern enterprises create efficient, secure, responsive and accountable environments with significant cost savings compared to on-premises solutions.

"Arcules offers technology that allows us to deliver highly reliable and scalable cloud solutions to our customers while allowing us to differentiate ourselves in the market," said Werner Braun, Head of Portfolio Management Security at Siemens AG. "The benefits of cloud-based physical security are proven, and now is the time to embrace the cloud. Siemens is pleased to offer this innovative solution to our customers seeking comprehensive security management."

The Arcules service works by seamlessly integrating with thousands of surveillance cameras, providing geographically dispersed business locations in a single view and correlating data across video data and sensors. This monitoring provides valuable, actionable analytics to business leaders. It enables distributed organizations the ability to centrally manage all video operations, aggregate data, and transform video data into powerful operational insights, while reducing the burden and cost of system management.

Building on our expertise in creating these on-demand offerings to meet security requirements, the Arcules Service supports more cameras and allows customers to scale faster, expanding the reliable options available to Siemens customers," said Andreas Pettersson, CEO of Arcules.
