International. Samsung released a recent update with which it will solve the problem of fingerprint recognition that was presented in its devices of the latest Galaxy series (See previous news).
The company published a statement in which it explained what were the reasons for this failure that was presented by the use of protective screen covers that allowed the sensor to read any fingerprint. "This issue involved ultrasonic fingerprint sensors that unlock devices after recognizing three-dimensional patterns that appear in certain silicone screen protection cases as users' fingerprints," the statement said.
The company explained that "to avoid further problems, we recommend Galaxy Note10/10+ and S10/S10+/S10 5G users who use such covers that they remove them, remove all previous fingerprints, and re-register their fingerprints. If you are currently wearing protective front screen covers, to ensure optimal fingerprint scanning, avoid wearing this cover until your device has been updated with a new software patch."
