Integration of Intelligent Video Analysis and Intrusion Alarm Systems

Latin America. Through direct integration between Bosch IP cameras and IVA, Bosch offers a unique level of standard detection for the B-Series and G-Series intrusion control panels. Each VAT allows Bosch IP cameras to support up to 8 built-in alerts and you can assign them to 8 unique detection points on the intrusion panels.

VAT points are easy to monitor, programmable, and compatible with the keypad, as well as communicating with the monitoring station like any other intrusion detection point. Each Bosch IP camera can be controlled by the B-Series and G-Series control panels to initiate recording, control PTZ functions, and transmit images or video for professional monitoring.

More powerful
The B Series and G Series intrusion panel intrusion control panels support multiple Bosch IP cameras and each IP camera supports up to 8 VAT alerts. Like any other intrusion device, the VAT on each camera is assigned to a single detection point. The Bosch B Series control panel also supports 4 outputs per IP camera that allows you to perform functions such as PTZ controls, recording profiles or any other function of the IP cameras.

More reliable
To ensure that alarms are only triggered in real events, the camera functions greatly improve VAT accuracy and reliability, camera calibration and perspective correction, statistical analysis of captured images makes the system highly weatherproof.

In rain and snow scenarios, motion detection is guaranteed only within the captured areas, and not movement caused by camera oscillation with wind. Special size, speed, direction and aspect ratio filters minimize false alerts which in turn allow flexibility in VAT alert scheduling.

More accurate
Offering a high degree of technology, Bosch VAT is very easy to implement, configure and control. The precise adjustment of sensitive areas, detection fields, shapes of objects and movements, allow to configure the system in the desired way, fast and accurate.

Smarter
Any VAT alert detected by the camera that meets the pre-programmed VAT criteria immediately activates the corresponding point in the Series B control panel until the VAT alert is cleared. The VAT intrusion port can be configured as:

  • • Internal locations when the VAT alert is used as a motion detector, crossing line or object detection in the field.
  • • 24 hours detection of critical VAT alerts such as Objects left or obstacles in the camera.
  • • Cross zoning or delay for alarm verification purposes.
