Sophos boosts its regional businesses through an alliance with online licenses

Peru. Sophos, a specialist in network and endpoint security, announced its partnership with Latin American software licensing wholesaler Licencias OnLine. In this way, both companies will have a greater reach in the regional market and will offer the full potential and added value of Sophos' full range of next-generation security products, including its anti-ransomware solution, Sophos Intercept X.

The agreement will also optimize Sophos' Synchronized Security strategy, which provides real-time information exchange between Sophos endpoints and its XG firewall products for coordinated, automated protection against cyber threats.

"Thanks to this new partnership with OnLine Licensing, we will bring our innovative next-generation solutions to customers looking to have a complete line of security products available from a cloud-based platform, which is our Sophos Central management console," said Maria Ardila, Sophos Channel Director for Latin America. "OnLine Licensing will also be able to take advantage of Sophos' growing MSP Connect program, which offers flexible billing models to Partners who want to serve and charge customers on a monthly basis. Together, this adds greater value to OnLine Licensing customers to help them continue to build their business."

For his part, Sebastián Losada, Regional Manager of Marketing and Strategic Alliances of LOL, commented: "Sophos is a supplier that has demonstrated sustainable growth in Latin America for several years and a great acceptance by the channels". He continued: "We are very focused on security technology, and in addition to being one of our strategic pillars, this alliance will allow us to enrich our portfolio with first-class suppliers and, in turn, offer differentiated value channels to their customers."

The partnership between Sophos and OnLine Licensing stems from both companies' vision to deliver cutting-edge security products that support digital transformation, as well as offering a simpler and more accessible security portfolio.

"Sophos has market segment solutions that are distinct from other technologies, allowing us to deliver different layers of value propositions that are appropriate for both the channel and customers. In turn, this delivers great benefits and excellent margins to the channel and positions Sophos as a strategic partner," said Losada.

Sophos allows customers to access different ways to purchase products, whether on-site, as a service, or in the cloud. As security is one of the obstacles for many decision-makers to go to the Cloud, Sophos provides a very attractive offer from the technological and commercial to be able to adapt to the various use cases and businesses of customers.

"This alliance allows us to enrich our ecosystem with security technology that is growing and proving to the market that it is successful and sustainable over time," added the executive. For this semester, we will have the Sophos ecosystem integrated with OnLine Licensing and partner development and content development programs will be active in the market to generate demand," concluded the LOL executive.
