The head of the Secretariat of Public Security of the Federal District (SSPDF), Hiram Almeida Estrada, announced that the police presence and video surveillance cameras were increased, now it will have 520 additional video surveillance cameras on the bridge of La Concordia and surrounding areas in the Iztapalapa delegation.
During a meeting with the head of the capital government, Miguel Ángel Mancera Espinosa, he said that the uniformed men came to reinforce that point and join the strength of the delegation that is two thousand 415 elements and the objective is to inhibit criminal behavior.
In addition, in the meeting that was held at the Center for Emergency Care and Citizen Protection of the capital (C4i4), it was reported that another 520 video surveillance cameras will also be installed.
Likewise, Hiram Almeida mentioned that as a result of the security reinforcement, 37 arrests were made, among which the recovery of two vehicles with a report of theft in that area stands out.
