Colombia. The Municipal Administration of La Plata received approval from the Ministry of the Interior for the acquisition of the security cameras that it had requested in its plan to fight crime.
The project, which has a more than considerable investment, already has the approval certificate of the Citizen Security and Coexistence Fund (Fonsecon), attached to the Ministry of the Interior.
The security cameras will be installed in different critical points of the city to improve the issues of surveillance and citizen security, since common crime has been on the rise, according to citizens.
Mayor Gloría Fanny Caupaz said that they received notification of the signing of the act during the month of April in Fonsecon, which ensures the resources that will allow the installation of 13 security cameras, which located in strategic places will help in the issue of security, an aspect that the same communities and the commercial sector claim in the urban perimeter of the municipality.
