Dominican Republic. This Thursday, November 15, at the Barceló Lina Hotel, the ALAS Technological Meeting will be held, which will be sponsored by Anixter, Came, Notifier by Honeywell Fire Systems, NVT and Sony.
This Technological Meeting arrives for the second time in the Dominican Republic (the First Meeting was in November 2011) and is held with the aim of promoting a space for business among the participants, publicizing the latest trends in the electronic security industry, and having a more precise approach with the partners of that country.
Within the program we will have included three conferences on current topics of the industry and of general interest and a networking activity.
Conference 1: The importance of individual professional certification.

Conference 2: How to efficiently manage an electronic security project.
Lecturer: Aitor Palacio, General Manager of Alerta
Since September 2011, Palacio acquires together with a group of investors the company J&O Alerta SRL, a leading company in the city of Santiago of Monitoring Intrusion and Fire Alarms, with Response Patrols, both for the Residential and Commercial sectors.
Since 2005 Palacio is a member of the board of directors of the Dominican Association of Electronic Security Companies (ADESE) in which he has held different functions. He was also President of the WINGS (Latin American Security Association) Chapter for the Dominican Republic.
Conference 3: Electronic security just like you?
Lecturer: Santiago Rivera, Sales Manager of Tyco Security Products.
Electronic engineer with more than 10 years of experience in design, sale and implementation of security and integration projects. Extensive experience in mass distribution and business development companies. It has 5 technical certifications in security including CCTV, intrusion alarms and access control. He has more than 50 projects executed as a consultant, among them, the installation of alarm communication systems in cell towers, banks and chain warehouses.
