Mexico. The state government and the City Council of Puebla will bet on the purchase of technology to improve security in the capital.
After Governor Rafael Moreno Valle will announce a joint investment between his administration and the capital management for the acquisition of more video surveillance cameras, the mayor of Puebla, Eduardo Rivera Pérez anticipated that it will be a historic project, since it is the first time that both presidents meet to carry out an initiative of this nature.
Although Rivera Pérez did not want to delve into the number and number of equipment, he indicated that the purchase of greater technological infrastructure is proof of the joint work being done by his government and the state administration.
As for the areas where the video surveillance cameras will be installed, Rivera explained that they will be placed in common areas and citizen concentration, in addition to the Tourist Corridor "Los Fuertes-Catedral".
He explained that mobile and fixed cameras will be acquired, as well as plate reading equipment; "It's going to be an important number, I prefer not to mention how many they are, so that both efforts announce it, it is part of the project of more than 170 video cameras," he said.
